China’s sales sensation, the Geely EX2 (known globally as the Xingyuan), has been confirmed for an Australian release in late 2026, bringing a fierce new challenger to the budget EV market. Currently China’s best-selling car with over 400,000 annual sales, the EX2 features a 400km range and rear-wheel drive, and is expected to price aggressively under $35,000 to undercut the BYD Dolphin and Atto 1 as Australia’s most affordable electric vehicle.
