GOOD USE OF BLOCKERS | UK DRIVING LESSON
Do you know how to use blockers safely to help you deal with busy junctions and roundabouts?
In this real driving lesson, we look at how another vehicle can temporarily block traffic and create an opportunity to emerge or proceed safely.
The important point is that a blocker does NOT automatically give you priority. You must still make effective observations, assess the situation yourself, and make sure it is safe before moving.

A good driver doesn’t simply see the blocker—they understand how the whole traffic situation is developing.
Never move just because another vehicle has stopped. Check carefully for motorcycles, cyclists, pedestrians, and other traffic that may still be approaching.
