Chery’s upcoming Stockman ute has already racked up more than 5000 expressions of interest and 1000 customer pre-orders in Australia, months before the diesel plug-in hybrid dual-cab even reaches showrooms. The strong demand has come before pricing has even been revealed, showing just how hungry Aussie buyers are for electrified utes. Set to launch in Q4 2026, the Stockman will take on rivals like the Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux and BYD Shark 6 with its unique diesel-hybrid setup.
